This Section includes the following: <br /> 1. Exterior standing and running trim and rails. <br /> 2. Interior staading and running trim and rails. <br /> B. Related Sections: The following Sections contain requirements that relate to this Section: <br /> 1. Division 6 Section"Rough Carpentry"for fiuring,blocking,and other carpentry w ork <br /> that is not exposed to view. <br /> 2. Division 6 Section"Structural Glued Laminated Timber". <br /> 3. Division 7 Section"Flashing and Sheet Metal"for flashing and other sheet metal work <br /> 4. Division 7 Section"Joint Sealants" for sealants. <br /> 5. Division 8 Section"Wood Doors","Wood Sliding Glass Doors","Wood <br /> Windows" <br /> 13 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br /> A. Installer Qualifications: Arrange for installation of fmish carpentry by a fum that can <br /> demonstrate successful ercperience in installing fmish carpentry items similar in type and quality to those <br /> required for this Project <br /> 1.4 DELIVERY,STORAGE,AND AANDLING <br /> A. Delivery and Storage: Keep materials under cover and dry. Protect against exposure to <br /> weather and contact with damp or wet surfaces. Stack lumber as well as plywood and other panels. <br /> Provide for air circulation within and around stacks and under temporary coverings including <br /> polyethylene and similaz materials. <br /> B. Do not deliver interior finish carpentry until environmental conditions meet requirements <br /> specified for installation areas. If fmish carpentry must be stored in other than installation areas,store <br /> only in areas where environmental conditions meet requirements specified for installation areas. <br /> 1.5 PROJECT CONDITIONS <br /> A. Environmental Conditions: Obtain and comply w3th finish carpenhy manufacturer's and <br /> insta.11er's coordinated advice for optimum temperature and humidity conditions for finish carpentry <br /> during its storage and installation. <br /> B. Weather Conditions: Proceed with finish carpentry only when eausting and forecasted weather <br /> conditions will permit exterior finish carpentry to be installed in compliance with manufacturer's <br /> recotnmendations and when substrate is completely dry. <br /> Page 1 of 4 <br />
