Compression Weatherstripping: Provide the manufacturer's standard compressible <br /> weatherstripping of molded PVC gaskets complying with ASTM D 2287,or molded expanded EPDM or <br /> neoprene gaskets complying with ASTM C 509,Grade 4,designed for permanent resilient sealing under <br /> bumper or wiper action,concealed when door is closed. <br /> G. Sliding Weatherstripping: Provide woven-pile weatherstripping of wool,polypropylene,or <br /> nylon pile,with resin-impregnated backing fabric,and an aluminum backing strip;comply with AAMA <br /> 701.2. <br /> 1. Provide weatherstripping with integral center-line barrier fm of semirigid plastic <br /> polypropylene sheet. <br /> H. Insect Screens: Provide a movable insect screen panel for each movable glazed panel. Comply <br /> with requirements of SMA 2005. <br /> 1. Screen Fabric: Provide 18-by-14 or 18-by-16 mesh of plastic-coated glass-fiber threads, <br /> woven and fused to form a screen that is resistant to conosion,shrinkage, stretching, <br /> impact damage,and weather deterioration;black or dark grey. Comply with <br /> requirements of FS IrS-125. <br /> 2. Insect Screen Frames: Provide the manufacturer's standard extruded aluminum screen <br /> frame with removable vinyl fabric-retainer spline mounted on water-repellent <br /> preservative-treated Western Pine wood frame. Comply with requirements of SMA <br /> 1004. <br /> a. Finish: Anodized aluminum or baked-0n organic coating in color selected by <br /> Architect from manufacturer's standards. <br /> I. Glazing Materials: Provide the manufacturer's standard sealed insulating safety glazing material <br /> that complies with the requirements of ANSI Z97.1 and the Division 8 Section"Glazing." <br /> 2.3 HARDWARE <br /> A. Hardware: Provide hardware necessary to properly operate,tightly close,and securely lock <br /> doors. Do not use aluminum in firictional contact with other metals. Where exposed,provide white <br /> bronze,cast or wrought aluminum,solid white metal with spacial coating finish,or nonmagnetic stainless <br /> steel. <br /> 1. Door Pulls: Provide manufacturer's standard wood pull grips. <br /> 2. Locks: Install manufacturer's standard pull and keyless locking device on each movable <br /> panel,lockable from the inside only.
