Shop drawings for each type of wood sliding glass door unit required. Include information not <br /> fully detailed in the manufacture�'s standazd product data and the following: <br /> 1. Layout and installation details, including anchors. <br /> 2. Typical unit elevgtions. <br /> 3. Glazing details. <br /> 4. Full-size details of typical composite members. <br /> 5. �Iazdwaze and accessories. <br /> D. Samples for Initial Color Selection: Samples of each required fmish on 12-inch-long typical <br /> door membeL W�►ere finishes involve normal color variations,include sample sets showing the full <br /> range of variations expected. <br /> E. Product certificates signed by the wood sliding glass door manufacturer certifying that door units <br /> comply with specified performance requirements. <br /> F. Product test reports based on tests performed by a qualified independent testing agency showing <br /> evidence of compliance of the wood sliding glass door units with requirements indicated based on <br /> comprehensive testing within the last 5 years. <br /> 1.5 QUALTTY ASSURANCE <br /> A. Safety Glass Standard: Where safety glass is indicated or required by authorities having <br /> jurisdiction,provide the type of products indicated t.�at comply with ANSI Z97.1 and testing <br /> requirements of 16 CFR for Category II materials. <br /> 1. Subject to compliance with requirements,provide safety glass permanently marked with <br /> the certification label of the Safety Glazing Certification Council(SGCC)or another <br /> cert�cation agency acceptable to authorities having jurisdiction. <br /> B. Glazing Standards: Comply with recommendations of the Flat Glass Marketing Association <br /> (FGMA)"Glazing Manual"and"Sealant Manual"except where more stringent requirements are <br /> indicated. Refer to those publications for definitions of glass and glazing terms not otherwise defined in <br /> this Section or referenced standards. <br /> C. Single-Source Responsibility: Provide wood sliding glass doors produced by a single fabricator <br /> who is capable of indicating prior successful production of units similar to those required. <br /> D. Design Concept: The Dra.wings indicate the sizes,profiles,and dimensional requirements of <br /> wood sliding glass door types required and are based on the specific type and model indicated. Wood <br /> sliding glass door units by other manufacturers may be considered provided deviations in dimensions and <br /> profiles are minor and do not change the design concept as judged by the Architect.
