City Council <br /> member poug Franchot was present. <br /> Chair Kang called the meeting to order at 6:32 p.m., followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> Chair Kang welcomed new Planning Commissioners John Thiesse and Hue Alexander. <br /> CONSENT AGENDA <br /> Item Nos. 2 and 3 were added to the Consent Agenda. <br /> Chair Kang opened the public hearing at 6:33 p.m. <br /> There were no public comments regarding these items. <br /> Chair Kang closed the public hearing at 6:33 p.m. <br /> Kang moved,Leskinen seconded,to approve the Consent Agenda as amended. VOTE: Ayes 5, <br /> Nays 0, <br /> *1. APPROVAL OF PLANIVING COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES OF OCTOBER 18, <br /> 2010 <br /> Kang moved,Leskinen seconded,to approve the minutes of the Orono Planning Commission <br /> meeting of November 15,2010, as submitted. VOTE: Ayes 5,Nays 0. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> *2. 11-3495 CITY OF ORONO,AMEND CODE SECTION 78-43,VOTING <br /> REQUIREMENTS <br /> Kang moved,Leskinen seconded,to recommend approval of Ordinance No. ,Third Series, an <br /> Ordinance Changing Voting Requirements for the Amendment of Zoning Ordinances.
