ORONO CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />MONDAY, JUNE 10, 2002 <br />• ROLL <br />The Council met on the above - mentioned date with the following members present: Mayor <br />Barbara Peterson, Council Members Bob Sansevere, Jay Nygard, Jim White, and Jim <br />Murphy. Representing staff were City Administrator Ron Moorse, Planning Director Mike <br />Gaffron, City Attorney Sean Simpson, Zoning Administrator Paul Weinberger, Zoning <br />Administrator Wendy Bottenberg, City Engineer Tom Kellogg, and Recorder Alissa <br />Winternheimer. <br />Mayor Peterson called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />1. Approve /Amend <br />Items 5,6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13 were added to the Consent Agenda. <br />Sansevere moved, and White seconded, to approve the consent agenda as amended. <br />Vote: Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />• APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />*2. Regular Council Meeting of May 28, 2002 <br />Sansevere moved, and White seconded, to approve the Minutes of the Regular <br />Council Meeting of May 28, 2002. <br />Vote: Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />PARK COMMISSION COMMENTS — PAULINE BOUCHARD, <br />REPRESENTATIVE <br />Bouchard stated that the concrete pad and port-o -potty had been installed at Navarre Park. <br />Hennepin County had approved construction of the sidewalk along County 19 from the <br />train track to the park. The state still has to approve the sidewalk for MSA funding. The <br />fence across Crystal Avenue in Crystal Bay Park was installed across both ends. Plans for <br />the remodel of Hackberry Park were being finalized by the engineering firm and would be <br />going out to bid in the near future. <br />Kellogg stated that the county had reviewed the plans, but they had not yet been submitted <br />to the state for approval. <br />• <br />
