VI LUGE OF ORONO <br />Regular Meeting of the Planning Commission, <br />December 18, 1972 <br />The Planning Commission met on the above date <br />with the following members present: Chairman <br />pro tem Elliott. Gasch, Gutirie, Hays, Ryerse, <br />and Van Nest. Absent: Chairman Poisson, <br />Kokesh, Kullberg, Nicholls, and Searles. <br />7:00 P.M. <br />Elliott moved, Gasch seconded, that the Minutes <br />of the Regular Meeting of December 4, 1972, <br />be approved. Motion, Ayes (6) - Nays (0). <br />MINUTES <br />C <br />George Howell represented himself in a <br />division of property. Members studied the <br />plat as proposed and were satisfied that it <br />met the requirements of the R-IC zone it is <br />in. Mr. Howell stated they were contemplating <br />one more division of the property. He was <br />informed this would be the last division <br />under the simplified platting ordinance and <br />any further divisions would have to be in <br />full compliance witii the entire platting <br />ordinance. <br />Elliott moved, Guthrie seconded, that approval <br />be recommended of the plat as presented <br />including the easement. Motion, Ayes (6) - <br />Nays (0). <br />DIVISION <br />2640 North Shore Drive <br />Mrs. Thomas fforison represented herself in <br />a division of her property to provide a <br />building site for her mother to construct <br />a home. The Building Inspector stated he <br />viewed the site and the wetlands in the site <br />would not encompass over % acre, leaving the <br />2.4 acre lot as proposed well in the zoning <br />requirements of R-IB, 14 acre requirements. <br />Since all the requirements were met, <br />Guthrie moved, Elliott seconded, that approval <br />be recommended. Motion, Ayes (6) - Nays (0). <br />DIVISION <br />1540 Fox Street <br />Donald White, representing himself, stated <br />his plan was for 48* X 20* fiber glass <br />structure for equipment storage to be <br />attached to a 90' X 20' poly type greenhouse. <br />Van Nest moved. Hays seconded, approval be <br />recommended conditioned on: <br />1. Further permission be obtained from four <br />adjacent neighbors. <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />180 North Shore Drive W. <br />(Continued)
