!� <br /> RECONVENED 1982 <br /> BOARD OF REVIEW <br /> The reconvened meeting of the Orono Board of Review was <br /> called to order at 7: 30 P.M. by Mayor Van Nest, June 29 , <br /> 1982 . Also present were Councilmembers Tom Frahm, Mary <br /> Butler, JoEllen Hurr and Tim Adams. Also present were <br /> Hennepin County Assessor pon l�Zonk and Milt Hilk Hennepin <br /> County P,ppraiser. <br /> Mayor Van Nest stated that some 70 properties have been <br /> reviewed by the assessor and the Council. The Board has <br /> to complete the Board' s business tonight. Those persons <br /> wishing to appear before the Board tonight will be called <br /> in the order of their arrival. Those persons who want <br /> to go on to the next step in the appeal process should <br /> call 348-4247 in order to get on the County Board agenda. <br /> The County Board of Review meeting starts July 6th. <br /> Appearing before the Board were: <br /> 1. William H. Meyers <br /> 1090 Loma Linda Avenue <br /> 08-117-23 23 0010 <br /> After reappraisal by the County no change in the assessraent <br /> was made. Councilmember Hurr had viewed the pro�erty <br /> and felt the value placed on the property by the assessor <br /> was correct. Motion by Butler seconded by Van Nest <br /> to accept the valuation of $78,000 as placed on the <br /> property by the assessor. Motion carried. <br /> Mayor Van Nest reminded the people present that the next <br /> appeal process was the County Board and then on to the <br /> State Board of Review, or you may go to the Tax Court. <br /> 2. Kenneth Roelofs <br /> 1650 Shadywood Road <br /> 17-117-23 21 0014 <br /> Their property had been reappraised and they felt the <br /> $156 , 800 was too high. After a discussion by the Board <br /> Mayor Van Nest urged them to go before the County Board <br /> of Review. Motion by Van Nest seconded by Adams to <br /> accept the valuation of $156, 800 as placed by the Assessor. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 3. William A. Bockmann <br /> 1130 Loma Linda Avenue <br /> 08-117-23 23 0012 <br /> Mr. Bockmann stated after a reappraisal his property <br /> valuation had been lowered by the Assessor from $109 ,800 <br /> to $108,300. Hurr asked Hilk if he felt this was a <br /> fair value for the property, Hilk said he felt the <br /> value was fine. Motion by Van Nest seconded by Hurr <br /> to accept the valuation of $108 ,300o Motion carried. <br />
