WHEREAS, Spring Hill Land Company, a limited partnership, <br /> (hereinafter "the applicant" ) is the owner of property at 725 Sixth <br /> Avenue North located within the City of Orono (hereinafter "City") and <br /> legally described as follows: � <br /> Refer to Exhibit A, attached (hereinafter "the property), and <br /> WHEREAS, the applicant has applied to the City of Orono for <br /> a Conditional Use Permit to permit Woodridge Church to use portions of <br /> the existing conference center facility per Municipal Zoning Cocie <br /> Section 10.29 Subdivision 1. <br /> NOW, THBREFORE, B$ IT RBSOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br /> Minnesota: <br /> FINDINGS <br /> 1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File #1637. <br /> 2. The property is located in the RR-1B-1, Rural Residential <br /> Sub-district requiring a minimum of 2 acres in area. The total <br /> property consists of 20+ acres . <br /> 3. Woodridge Church shall lease the facility for a specified <br /> period of time. The church use sha 11 be a temporary use of the <br /> facility. <br /> 4. The congregation is proposed at 250 members. <br /> 5. The Orono Planning Commission reviewed this application as <br /> proposed and recommended approval of the conditional use permit <br /> based upon the following findings: <br /> a) The proposed church use is permitted within the RR-1B-1 <br /> Zoning District with a conditional use permit. <br /> Page 1 of 5 <br />
