The City Council finds that granting a conditional use permit <br /> to allow church use of the existing conference center facility <br /> wil 1 not be detrimental to the hea lth, safety or general welfare <br /> of the public, would not adversely affect light, air nor pose a <br /> fire hazard or other danger to ne�ighboring properties, nor will <br /> it depreciate surrounding property values ancl that the proposed <br /> leve 1 of use of the property wi 11 be in keeping with the intent <br /> and objectives of the Zoning Code and Comprehensive Plan of the <br /> City. <br /> 7. The Cfty Council has considered this application including <br /> the findings and recommendations of the Planning Commission, <br /> reports by City staff, comments by the applicant and the effect <br /> of the proposed variance on the health, safety and welfare of the <br /> community. , <br /> CONCLDSIONS, ORDBR AND CONDITIONS <br /> Based upon one or more of the above findings, the Orono City <br /> Council hereby grants a Conditional Use Permit per Municipal Zoning <br /> Code Section 10.29, Subdivision 1 to permit the applicant, Spring Hill <br /> Land Company, to lease portions of the conference center to Woodridge <br /> Church. subject to the fol lowing conditions: <br /> Page 2 of 5 <br />
