Christine Mattson
From: Catherine Bach [cbach@minnehahacreek.org]
Sent: Friday, May 31, 2013 12:04 PM
To: Christine Mattson; Jesse Struve
Subject: Potential Wetland Violation at 840 Old Crystal Bay Rd S, Orono
Attachments: Potential Wetland Violation 840 Old Crystal Bay Rd S, Orono.pdf; DSCN4191.jpg;
DSCN4192.jpg; DSCN4180.jpg
Importance: High
Hi Christine &Jesse,
Please see the attached letter and photos following our final inspection at 840 Old Crystal Bay Road S in Orono. As the
letter states,we will be processing these new potential violations separate from our erosion control permit#11-308
since it is clear that the impacts were caused by a new project undertaken by the property owners following completion
of the construction of the home. It sounds like they're still waiting for their Certificate of Occupancy from you, which I
thought might be able to occur since the impacts are not specifically relating to the construction of the home and we
were able to verify that the buffer signs were installed correctly, but obviously you would make that call as to when you
feel comfortable releasing it. Please let me know if you have any questions or would like to discuss. I will be mailing the
letter to the property owners today.
Thanks and have a great weekend!
Catherine Bach
District Technician
Minnehaha Creek Watershed District
18202 Minnetonka Boulevard
Deephaven, MN 55391
Direct: (952) 641-4504
Main Office: (952)471-0590
Fax: 952-471-0682
www.minnehahacreek.org
MINNEHAHA CREEK
WATERSHED DISTRICT
RA Think Green- please do not print this email unless necessary
