Absent: <br /> � Councilmembers Massengale and Welsh. <br /> • <br /> Mayor Searles announced that this was the <br /> • time and place for two public hearings. Henry <br /> Muhich, Building & Zoning Administrator, presented <br /> ! the Public Hearing Notice for the Multi-Housing <br /> � Ordinance, the Affidavit of Publication and the <br /> Certificate of Mailing. Mayor Searles extended <br /> � the public hearing for the Multi-Housing Ordinance, <br /> which will be chaired by the Planning Commission, <br /> � after the completion of the Ring Route public <br /> hearing. <br /> • <br /> � At 7: 35 P.M. , Mayor Searles announced that this <br /> was the time and place for the public hearing <br /> � concerning the Ring Route. Dick Benson, City <br /> Administrator, presented the Public Hearing <br /> � Notice, the affidavit of Publication, and <br /> the Certificate of Mailing. <br /> • <br /> Mr. Rick Sathre, representing McCombs-Knutson, <br /> t City Engineers, presented maps showing the <br /> • proposed ring route concept, stating that the <br /> proposal was presented in light of the present <br /> � traffic count on Hennepin County #15 and future <br /> traffic counts which are projected from 12,000 <br /> � V.P.H. to 23,000 V.P.H. in future years. <br /> � Mr. Sathre continued by stating that the <br /> construction would be financed by the M.S.A. <br /> • program and the estimated cost summary is as <br /> . follows: <br /> • Proposed M.S.A. Ring Route <br /> Estimated Cost Summary <br /> a Land Acquisition: <br /> � Right-of-way 7. 3 Acres @ $3000 = $21,000 <br /> Easements (slope) 3 Acres @ $3000 + $ 9 ,000 <br /> � Contingencies $ 3, _100 <br /> 34,000 <br /> � <br /> � Grading: <br /> Common Excavation 66 ,000 CY @ $0. 75 = $49 ,500 <br /> � Unsuitable Soil Correction 37 ,500 CY @ $1. 00 = $37,500 <br /> Granular Fill 31,500 CY @ $3. 00 = $94 ,500 <br /> � Contingencies $18,100 <br /> $199 ,600 <br /> • <br /> � (Continued) <br /> • <br /> � <br />
