Those in attendance were: Council- <br /> � men Massengale and Butler, Dick Benson, Gretchen <br /> Hallowell, Donna Carlton, Dave Opheim, Skip <br /> • McCombs, John Guthrie, and Henry Muhich. <br /> � <br /> • Mayor Searles discussed on-site disposal systems ON-SITE DISPOSAL <br /> as they relate to density areas particularly in SYSTEMS <br /> � the Crystal Bay and Stubb' s Bay areas. <br /> � <br /> The Human Rights Goals and Objectives for 1975 HOUSIPJG INVENTORY <br /> • were discussed. <br /> � It was noted that progress had not been made in <br /> � the area of Orono housing inventory and policy <br /> in reference to low, moderate and high income <br /> � housing as set forth in a joint work session <br /> of the Council and all Orono commission members <br /> � held January 7, 1975. Mayor Searles requested <br /> Mary Butler and Donna Carlton to proceed with the <br /> • housing inventory. <br /> f+' <br /> i Mr. Dave Opheim, Park Commission Chairman, PARK NEEDS <br /> re�orted on the status of the park needs <br /> � survey which will be ready for review in July. <br /> • <br /> The status of bike/hike trails was also discussed BIKE/HIKE TRAILS <br /> 7 and their relationship to a neighborhood park <br /> • system. <br /> � Mayor Searles discussed relocating the Public PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT <br /> � Works Department and stated that the Public Works RELOCATION <br /> Department is presently located within a heavily <br /> � populated residential area in Crystal Bal�. The <br /> present area is not adequate to accommodate <br /> • storage of street supplies and equipment. <br /> � We are presently using the French Lake site for <br /> � excess materials which consists of 40 acres, 28 <br /> acres are wet, 6 acres are wooded, leaving 6 acres <br /> � as usable. <br /> � (Continued) <br /> � <br /> r <br /> � <br /> � <br />
