DNR policy statement should include hardcover
restrictions, pollution effects in density areas,
should express concern for environmental protection
of Lake Minnetonka and encourage urban residential
development and not industrial development.
i
5. Concern was expressed that will present DNR
guidelines be effective to protect Lake Minnetonka
. in the future and does the present DNR statement
of policy uphold Orono' s Comprehensive Guide Plan
 and Land Use Zoning.
It was agreed that the Council and Planning
Commission will propose recommended changes or
i additions to the DNR proposed guidelines before
the public hearing July 16 , 1975
t
 (Continued)
