Absento t�ayor Searles. <br /> • <br /> At this time, the City Administrator informed <br /> � the Council that Niayor Searles had been called <br /> S and notified of the meeting and therefore, the <br /> proper notice had been made to everyone <br /> � concerned. <br /> • <br /> At this time, i�Ir. Terry Schneider made a <br /> � brief presentation of the overall I.D.S. <br /> ! proposal. One of the first concerns that <br /> the Council expressed was the location of <br /> � the bus stop. It was felt that it would <br /> ue desirable to move it further west of <br /> � the intersection of #15 and #�19 and possibly <br /> additional parking areas could be set aside <br /> • for commuters who would park their cars <br /> at the center and take the bus into town. <br /> �he City Council instructed the Administrator <br /> � to contact the people in the operational <br /> division of the AiTC and begin negotiations <br /> � for the relocation of the bus stop in this <br /> area. <br /> • <br /> • The second item of concern that the CounciZ <br /> • stated to I.D.S. involved Orono's yiquor <br /> Store. If the shopping center is approved, <br /> i it is the desire of the Council that the <br /> lic�uor store be placed in a very favorable <br /> � location in the building where it �aill have <br /> an outside entrance and that it be located. <br /> � in close proximity to the Super Valu Store. <br /> ! <br /> � At this time, the City Council addressed <br /> themselves to the letter from I.D.S. <br /> � concerning their comments about draft #4 <br /> and the conditions stated in this draft. <br /> � These items were taken one at a time. <br /> • A. (A#�2) I .D.S. stated that this condition <br /> could be lived with without any difficulty. <br /> � �'he Council expressed a desire that park <br /> � _.ro�erty located on the south side of the <br /> proposal be treated as a separate piece <br /> � but that consideration be given for <br /> residential credits elsewhere, if that <br /> � is dedicated as park property.
