i" <br />C, <br />• <br />• <br />1 <br />MINUTES OF THE <br />ORONO CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />Monday, January 24, 2005 <br />7:00 o'clock p.m. <br />ROLL <br />The Council met on the above mentioned date withfthe following members present: Mayor Barbara <br />Peterson; Council members Jim Murphy, Lili McMillan, and Bob Sansevere; City Attorney Thomas <br />Barrett; Representing staff were, City Administrator Ron Moorse, Planning Director Mike Gaffron, <br />Planners Janice Gundlach and Melanie Curtis, Public Service Director Greg Gappa, Engineer Tom <br />Kellogg and Recorder Kristi Anderson. I <br />Council member Jim White was absent. <br />�I <br />Mayor Peterson called the meeting to order at 7:03!P.M, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />1. Approve /Amend <br />Items 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10 were added to the <br />Agenda. <br />Sansevere moved, McMillan seconded, to <br />Nays 0. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />2. Regular Council Meeting of January 10, <br />Agenda. Item 2 was removed from the Consent <br />I <br />We the Consent Agenda as amended. Vote: Ayes 4 <br />g Y <br />McMillan changed p. 5, the fifth paragraph, final two words in the sentence to `exotic plants'. <br />I <br />McMillan moved, Mayor Peterson seconded, to: approve the Minutes of January 10, 2005, as <br />amended. VOTE: Ayes 4, Nays 0. !I <br />PARK COMMISSION COMMENTS — Jeff <br />Soderstrom indicated that he was available for comment, since their next meeting would be in two weeks. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION COMMENTS — David Rahn <br />Rahn stated that he had nothing to report, but would remain for questions. <br />Sansevere complimented Chair Rahn on running an effective and efficient meeting last week. <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS I <br />There were none. <br />PAGE 1 of 6 <br />
