RESOLUTION N0. 1008 <br /> i <br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING LOT AREA AND LOT <br /> WIDTH VARIANCES BUT DENYING SETBACK VARIANCES <br /> FOR LOT 18, �BLOCK 13, SAGA HILL REVISED <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation <br /> organized and existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to State Statutes 412 et. seq, and <br /> � 462 et. seq. , the City Council of the City of Orono has adopted zoning <br /> regulations for the protection of the public health, safety and <br /> general welfare; and <br /> � WHEREAS, Paul C. Clabo has applied for lot area and lot <br /> width variances to build a structure on I,ot 18, Block 13, Saga <br /> Hill Revised; and � _ <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission and City staff have <br /> reviewed the facts and circumstances involved in this application; <br /> • WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the application; <br /> the recommendations by the staff and the Planning Commission; <br /> comments by Mr. Clabo; and comments by the neighbors to this property; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Orono makes the <br /> following findings of fact: <br /> 1. The property is located in the LR-1B Single Family <br /> Lakeshore Residential use district .which has among <br /> � others the following minimum requirements : <br /> Lot Area - One acre <br /> Lot Width - 140 feet � <br /> Front Yar'd - 35 feet <br /> • Side Yard - 10 feet each side � <br /> Rear Yard - 30 feet <br /> Between 500 - 1000 feet of the shoreline, there shall <br /> be no greater than 35% hardcover. <br /> • . <br />
