The slope is aprroximately 12^ and is
covered mostly by grass. Specific location of the soil boring and percolation
tests are shown on the attached sketch. One soil boring to a total depth
of seven feet, and two percolation tests were run. Surface alev.tions
between the two percolation test locations was approximately’ h l/2 feet.
RKULTS
ffie soil encountered was primarily a sandy clay with a surface ccvcring
of clayey silt topsoil. No mottling or evldaucc of ^X'^'indwater was
encotntnred to a total depth of seven feet. The percolation rates
determined were 20 and 27 minutes per inch in the two test holes. The
soil boring log and percolation test data sheets are attached.
RECOMMENDATIONS
It is our rccormendatlon that a percolation rate of *7 minutes per inch
bo used in designing the onsite sewage system at t! i-.. property. According
to Information furnished by you, the existln:' house is essentially a
tiace bed room home* We recommend considering a system desi-Tied for a
Type I residence, as it is likely that more than two major water using
appliances are, or will be installed during the probable useful life
of this system*
5109 Kimberly Roed, Minnetonlte, Minnesota 55343 16121 934*80^'-
4" ’ •
