He stated <br /> that a purchase agreement is being drat�nup. <br /> Opheim reported that a filing cabinet for FILING CABINET <br /> use by the Park Board will be installed <br /> in the Vill�ge Hall. <br /> Tom Burns, 1430 Cherry Pldce, P4ound, 55364, APPOINTP2ENT <br /> 471-8342, attended the meeting. He expressed <br /> an interest in becoming a member of the Board. <br /> 3erglund moved, Kubalsky seconded, that I�Ir. <br /> Burns be recommended to the Council as the <br /> eleventh member of the Park Board. i+�iotion, <br /> Ayes (6) - Nays (0) . <br /> Peasley reported on the Sandy Beach park SANDY BEACH PARK <br /> property. He recommended that that portion <br /> of the �roperty lying to the west of the <br /> fire lane be filled and leveled so that <br /> it might be used as a parking area, <br /> Panuska moved, Leipolci seconded, that Dick <br /> Benson be asked to obtain cost estimates of <br /> filling the land, installing a culvert, <br /> and to create as much additional beach area <br /> as possible, ��Iotion, Ayes (6) - Nays (0) . <br /> Bill ��Iear and Dick Youngberg, representatives �iACKBERRY PARK <br /> of the Lake TZinnetonka Optimist Club, Box 245, <br /> Lonc� Lake, PRn. 55356, presented a proposal <br /> that they be allowed to develop Hackberry <br /> Park as a recreational area. Preliminary <br /> plans include the installation of playground <br /> equipment, developing a ball field, grading <br /> and landscaping. <br />
