Absent : Jarl, Opheim, <br /> and Panuska. <br /> The i4inutes were read and anproved. i+�INUTES <br /> Tne original budget proposed was $19,900. BUDGET <br /> Tiie Council nas added $10,000 for nark <br /> improvements and acquisition. Tlie total is <br /> $29, 900. A resolution will be presented to <br /> tlie Council that any unused funds i�ill be <br /> transferred to the Park Commission for <br /> acquisition. <br /> Recommendations were made for new members on NEId A�E�1BEt�S <br /> t;1e Park Commission. Geographical location <br /> is an important consideration •as we want <br /> all parts of the Village to be rePresented <br /> on t:ie commission if possible. Ogland Iiad <br /> talked witli several people that Trere recommended <br /> previously and has recommended Doug :•4iller <br /> and P.olalld Berglund to the Council. EUe will <br /> consider two more additions. <br /> The Village is taorking on marking exact park �IAPS <br /> locations on maps for tlie commission. <br /> Identification was made on a large Villa�;e <br /> map wit;-� all park and park-type lands in or <br /> near tiie boundaries of tlle Villa�e . The <br /> mans will be studied for future planning. <br /> Tiie Council would like to liave road markers GOLF COURSE <br /> to identify the Orono golf course. <br /> tYysocky moved, Sta,ike seconded, that since <br /> t}ie Parlc Commission is trying to have uniform <br /> signs for easy ideritification of park property, <br /> tve recommend that the Standard Green Logo <br /> sign with a tack-on saying Orono Golf <br /> Course be put up on either end of Orono <br /> Orc:iard Road and County Road #15 and Highway #12 <br /> to locate tlle golf course.
