MINUTES OF THE <br /> ORONO PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING <br /> Monday, September 15,2014 <br /> 6:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> The Orono Planning Commission met on the above-mentioned date with the following members present: <br /> Chair Denise Leskinen, Commissioners Kevin Landgraver,Bruce Lemke,Loren Schoenzeit,John <br /> Thiesse and Alternate Commissioner Janice Berg. Representing Staff were Community Director Andrew <br /> Mack, Senior Planner Michael Gaffron, City Planner Melanie Curtis, and Recorder Jackie Young. City <br /> Council Member Levang was present. Commissioner McGrann arrived at 7:15 p.m. <br /> Chair Leskinen called the meeting to order at 6:34 p.m., followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> CONSENT AGENDA <br /> Landgraver moved,Berg seconded, to approve the Consent Agenda as submitted. VOTE: Ayes 6, <br /> Nays 0. <br /> *1. APPROVAL OF PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES OF AUGUST 18, <br /> 2014 <br /> Landgraver moved,Berg seconded,to approve the minutes of the Orono Planning Commission <br /> meeting of August 18,2014, as submitted. VOTE: Ayes 6,Nays 0. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> 2. #14-3682 JAMES AND MARGARET KELLY, 1855 CONCORDIA STREET,AFTER- <br /> THE-FACT CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT, 6:37 P.M.—7:05 P.M. <br /> James and Margaret Kelly, Applicants, were present. <br /> Curtis stated earlier this year the applicants began conducting improvements to their home and property at <br /> 1855 Concordia Street. The improvements included vegetation removal in the yard areas, grading of the <br /> yard areas,removal of a wooden walkway along the southwest side of the house and installation of a new <br /> boulder wall. The applicants received permits for removal of three trees greater than six inches within the <br /> Page 1 of 59 <br />
