./ <br />MINUTES OF THE <br />ORONO CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />Monday, August 27, 2007 <br />• 7:00 � 'clock p.m. <br />ROLL <br />The Orono City Council met on the above - mentioned date with the following members present: Mayor <br />James White, Council Members Jim Murphy, Cynthia Bremer, and David Rahn; City Attorney Soren <br />Mattick; Representing Staff were City Administrator Ron Moorse, Assistant City Administrator for <br />Long -Term Strategy Mike Gaffron, Planning and Zoning Coordinator Melanie Curtis; City Engineer <br />Tom Kellogg, and Recorder Jackie Young. <br />Mayor White called the meeting to order at 7:03 p.m., followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />1. APPROVE /AMEND I <br />Items 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 12 were added to the Consent Agenda. <br />Murphy moved, Bremer seconded, to approve the Consent Agenda as amended. VOTE: Ayes 4, <br />Nays 0. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />• *2. REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF AUGUST 13, 2007 <br />Murphy moved, Bremer seconded, to approve�the minutes of the August 13, 2007, Regular City <br />Council meeting as submitted. VOTE: Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION COMMENTS — RALPH KEMPF <br />Kempf stated he had nothing to report but would be available for questions. <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS <br />None <br />ZONING ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT <br />3. #07 -3291 ED COX ON BEHALF OF PAUL AND LAURA EKHOLM, 2606 WEST <br />LAFAYETTE ROAD — VARIANCE APPROVAL AMENDMENT <br />Ed Cox, Applicant, was present. <br />Curtis stated this property received variance approval in June of 2007, in order to construct additions to <br />• the existing home which is located mostly ahead of the 75 foot setback line. The applicant was still in <br />PAGE 1 of 6 <br />
