5945805 <br />CITY of ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. 3070 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A <br />METES AND BOUNDS CLASS 1 SUBDIVISION OF <br />A LOT LINE REARRANGEMENT FOR <br />SAMUEL A. MCCLOUD, ET AL <br />FILE NO. 1661 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation <br />organized and existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Orono (hereinafter <br />"City Council") has adopted subdivision regulations for the orderly, <br />economic and safe development of land within the City; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the application for <br />a subdivision by Samuel A. Mccloud, Big Island Properties, and Harold <br />E. Farnes and Patty H. Farnes, (hereinafter "the applicants") of <br />properties legally described as follows: <br />That part of Government Lot 3 lying South of the most <br />Southerly line of Tract R, Registered Land Survey No. <br />1294 and North of the Westerly extension of the <br />Northerly line of Lot 8, Morse Island Park, Section 22, <br />Township 117, Range 23, according to the United States <br />Government Survey thereof. <br />AND <br />That part of Government I~t 3, in Section 22, Township <br />117, Range 23, which lies South of the Westerly <br />extension of the Northerly line of Lot 8, Morse Island <br />Park, according to the United States Government Survey <br />thereof. (hereinafter "the property"): and <br />WHEREAS, the applicants have completed all requirements of <br />the City for a metes and bounds class l subdivision of a lot line <br />rearrangement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the <br />City of Orono hereby approves the metes and bounds class 1 subdivision <br />of a lot line rearrangement for Samuel A. Mccloud, et al. according to <br />the legal description shown on the Certificate of Survey by DeMars, <br />Gabriel Land Surveyors, Inc. dated January 16, 1984, revised February <br />7, 1985 and attached to this resolution as Exhibit A, subject to the <br />following conditions: <br />Page 1 of 2
