� o� <br /> � o 0 <br /> CITY of ORONO <br /> � � <br /> ti <br /> ��� �G~' RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCII <br /> `9k'ESII�4 NO. � � � ' <br /> A RESOLUTION <br /> GRANTING A VARIANCE TO <br /> MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE <br /> SECTION 78-330 <br /> FILE NO. 11-3517 <br /> WHEREAS, Dennis Swen Hylen and Patti Mae Hylen, a married couple <br /> (hereinafter "the Applicants") are the owners of the property located at 1299 Wildhurst Trail <br /> within the City of Orono (hereinafter the "City") and legally described as follows: Southwesterly <br /> 75 feet of the southeasterly 100 feet of Lot 46, Tonkaview Gardens, Hennepin County, <br /> Minnesota(hereinafter the"Property"); and <br /> ( WHEREAS, the Applicants have made application to the City of Orono for a <br /> variance to Orono Municipal Zoning Code Section 78-330(B) to allow construction of an <br /> addition to the existing home with a partial second-story resulting in an 11.7 foot setback on the <br /> rear of the home where a 35-foot side street setback is normally required and a 9.4 foot setback <br /> currently exists; and <br /> WHEREAS, after due published notice and mailed notice in accordance with <br /> Minnesota Statutes and the Orono, Minnesota, City Code, the Orono Planning Commission held <br /> a public heazing on August 15, 2011 at which time all persons desiring to be heard concerning <br /> this application were given the opportunity to speak thereon. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br /> Minnesota: <br /> FINDINGS <br /> 1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File 11-3517. <br /> 2. The property is located in the LR-1B One Family Lakeshore Residential Zoning <br /> District which requires a minimum lot area of 1.0 acres and a minimum lot width <br /> of 140'. <br /> � <br /> Page 1 of 5 <br />
