Teynor & Joseph T. Teynor, a married couple (hereinafter <br /> "the Applicants") are the owners of the property located at 2789 Pheasant Road within the City <br /> of Orono (hereinafter the "City") and legally described as: Tract A, RLS No. 310, Hennepin <br /> County, Minnesota (hereinafter the "Proper+�•"�; and <br /> t <br /> WHEREAS, +" ���`�� e made application to the City of Orono for a <br /> variance to Orono ^" � � �. �ction 78-330 to allow construction of a new <br /> residence on an e �. �� (� `he OHWL and 100 feet in width at the 75-foot <br /> setback where 140 � �, Sb�,�s(�y� normally required; and <br /> � . `� C�e>' 1 <br /> WHE1 �5���( Y�� ade application to the City of Orono for a <br /> variance to Orono M�, `�V "' � - ,8-1288 to allow 6,740 square feet or 38.5% <br /> hardcover within the ., 15% is normally allowed in conjunction with the <br /> construction of a new re .,� <br /> WHEREAS, after due published notice and mailed notice in accordance with <br /> Minnesota Statutes and the Orono, Minnesota, City Code, the Orono Planning Commission held <br /> a public hearing on July 16, 2012 at which time all persons desiring to be heard concerning this <br /> application were given the opportunity to speak thereon. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br /> Minnesota: <br /> FINDINGS <br /> 1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File 12-3565. <br /> 2. The Property is located in the LR-1 B One Family Lakeshore Residential Zoning <br /> District which requires a minimum lot area of 1.0 acres and a minimum lot width <br /> of 140'. <br /> 3. The Planning Commission reviewed this application at a public hearing held on <br /> July 16, 2012 and recommended approval of the lot width variance and denial of <br /> the hardcover variance based on the following findings: <br /> Page 1 of 5 <br />
