H. Dahlmeier Engineering Inc. prepared a Memorandum Report providing information <br /> regarding the structural adequacy of the foundation system for the addition. <br /> OBSERVATIONS AND COMMENTS <br /> 1. Based on on-site conditions, corrective measures recommended for condition a have been <br /> modified. <br /> 2. It has been recommended that a pilaster system be installed to support the wall rather <br /> than the in-wall reinforcing. <br /> SPECIAL INSPECTION <br /> 3. A special inspection was conducted on November 24, 1998 to review conditions on the <br /> site. The following observations were made: <br /> a. The pilaster system and footing have been constructed. <br /> b. Reinforcing is in place. <br /> c.
