Following are <br /> my comments for City consideration: <br /> 1. Silt fence should be indicated on the plan immediately down gradient from proposed work where land will be <br /> disturbed. The silt fence should be installed by the Contractor and inspected by the City prior to any land <br /> disturbing activities. The Contractor must provide a minimum 24 hour notice prior to inspection. <br /> 2. A financial security of$2,500 from the Applicant is recommended for erosion control and engineering oversight. <br /> The financial security is intended to provide protection in the event that it becomes necessary for the City to <br /> install or maintain erosion and sediment control within the project area and covers the cost of vegetation re- <br /> establishment if the applicant is unable to follow through with the conditions of approval. <br /> 3. The applicant may be required to obtain Minnehaha Creek Watershed District (MCWD)approval and permitting <br /> for their Erosion Control rule.
