Al!work shall be demRon & Karen Ridgeway in full compliance with all applicable septic and zoning code. ORONO
1350 Orono Oaks Dr. Requirements including items not specifically noted in this review. COP
Orono, Henn. Co.,MN KEEP THIS PLAN SET ON SITE AT ALL TIMES
The Revised design dated October 12, 2005 is being revised due to construction
equipment traveling over the proposed treatment area which caused damage to the
soil.
This site has an existing on-site sewage treatment system which was classified as non-
compliant by the City of Orono.
This on-site sewage treatment system is designed for a Type 1, four bedroom home, in
accordance with the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency Chapter 7080 and local
ordinances.
The soils on this site are a loam. The periodically saturated soils were located at 26" to
40" (redox features). Due to the seasonally saturated soils, a Pressurized Mound
System will need to be installed on a 12% slope to treat septic effluent. The bottom of
the rock must be located at least 3' above the saturated soils.
The soils at a depth of 12" have a percolation rate of 4.2 mpi. ORONO COPY
The existing tank may be used if water tight.
The soil 15' downslope of the mound must be protected. This area has been driven on
& should be roughened up at the same time as the mound construction. The access
road to the back of the property must be 20' downslope of the toe of the mound. By
saving this area, allows movement of water downslope & allows space to add sand to
the downslope toe of the mound if seepage would occur.
ORONO COPY 1 ,
• 111111111111111111$111861
