INS MThISDUNNED MN
June 16 2000 Alif Mal
 IN
11111 ISM
Re: Soil Boreings, Percolation Tests, System Design.
Brian Kerber 476-2016 H
740 Orchard Park Rd 760-4463 M
Orono
We were retained by Brian Kerber to provide criteria for the on-site sewage system for the
property located at 740 Orchard Park Rd. In the City of Orono
There were a total of 6 soil borings and 4 percolation tests done on this site and it appears that
there is room for a new primary and alternate sites for septic systems on this property.
This is based on a three bedroom, type one, single family home with maximum flow of 450
gallons per day. This house exists on this lot at this time.
From these tests it was determined that a high water table exists at a depth of 16 to 24 inches
below the ground surface. The high water table determines that only a mound type drainfield
may be installed, to meet with code.
Percolation tests range from 6 to 12 minutes per inch on the two sites tested.
All neighboring wells are located greater than 100 feet from the proposed drianfield site.
See attached sketch for locations.
These areas must be protected from any traffic to be used for any future septic sites. If they are
not protected the data collected herein will become Void and new testing shall have to take
place.
This design is in compliance with local codes and Minnesota Pollution Control Chapter 7080 as
of the date listed above.
Respectfully
Bob Volkenant
MPCA License#56
ernr'IC r R
 C1Nt
lbt ' ?-714.111!.. v ►
tier
Thaw
w laa°bnl'
1a °k w Aik41' ►
A '"th. au
syrk
hicl
darn
? udinj s LAN sers a iay ficsizy tonin h
aN SUN Ar Ate, in this"tytet
