City Code Section 78-1405 regulates fences <br /> within the City. According to City Code Section 78-1405(8)(a) fences and walls within a <br /> required front yard or side street yard shall not exceed a height of 42 inches above original <br /> grade. By City Code definitions, the property addressed 2359 Olive Avenue is considered a <br /> through-lot. Attached is the definition of a through-lot. <br /> This letter is your official notification that the fence must be lowered to 42 inches within <br /> the first 30 feet of Shadywood Road (measured from the property line) or removed from <br /> the property before Wednesday, August 21, 2013. An inspection will be conducted to verify <br /> compliance with this notice. Please note, the City will continue to hold the $2,500 building <br /> permit escrow until this violation is resolved.
