SECTION 02830 <br /> CHAIN LINK FENCE <br /> PART 1 GENERAL <br /> 1.1 SUMMARY <br /> A. Section Includes: <br /> 1. Chain link fence to the extent shown on the drawings,including posts,rails,bracing, <br /> fencing fabric,gates and gate accessories, other accessories,and concrete for post <br /> setting. <br /> B. Related Sections: <br /> 1. Section 03300-Cast-in-Place Concrete. <br /> 1.2 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br /> A. Standards: Fencing work shall meet or exceed the minimum specifications of the Chain <br /> Link Manufacturers Institute. <br /> PART 2 PRODUCTS <br /> 2.1 MANUFACTURERS <br /> A. Type and Manufacturers: Fencing that may conform to the below requirements is made <br /> by USS (Cyclone),Page,Anchor Fence,Century,Continental Steel and Crowley Fence <br /> Company. <br /> 2.2 FENCE <br /> A. Height: The fence shall be nominally 8 feet high above grade,using 96 inch high chain <br /> link fabric. <br /> B. Fabric Use 9 gauge finished size wire in a,1 inch mesh,aluminum coated, conforming to <br /> the requirements of ASTM-A491 or hot dip galvanized conforming to the requirements of <br /> ASTM-A392 Class 2 coating.Fabric shall be knuckled at the bottom selvage and twisted <br /> and barbed at the top selvage. <br /> 2.3 FENCE POSTS,GATES AND FITTINGS <br /> A.
