SECTION 02515 <br /> SITEWORK CONCRETE <br /> PART 1 GENERAL <br /> 1.1 SUMMARY <br /> A. Section Includes: <br /> 1. Cast-in-place concrete,cement,aggregates and admixtures. <br /> 2. Curb and gutter. <br /> 3. Concrete sidewalks. <br /> 4. Equipment pads:As noted on plans. <br /> B. Related Sections: <br /> 1. Section 02200-Earthwork,preparation of subgrade. <br /> 2. Section 03300-Cast-in-Place Concrete. <br /> 1.2 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br /> A. Use plant mixed concrete mixed in stationary mixers. Mix and deliver concrete in <br /> accordance with ASTM C94. <br /> B. Perform concrete work in accordance with ACI 304 and 318,unless specified otherwise. <br /> C. Obtain materials from same source throughout the work. <br /> D. Weather Limitations: Comply with ACI 306 when concreting during cold weather. When <br /> heating, do not allow carbonation to occur. Conform to ACI 305 when concreting during <br /> hot weather,including avoidance of alkali reactions to hardened surface. Refer to ACI <br /> 301,Article 8.4 for weather restrictions and placing temperatures. <br /> E. Testing as specified. <br /> 1.3 REFERENCE STANDARDS <br /> A. ASTM C150- Specification for Portland Cement. <br /> B. ASTM C94- Specifications for Ready-Mixed Concrete. <br /> C.
