SECTION 15413 <br /> STORM DRAINAGE SYSTEMS <br /> PART 1: GENERAL <br /> 1.01 RELATED DOCUMENTS <br /> A. Requirements of the following Division 15 sections apply to this section: <br /> 1. Section 15010 Basic Mechanical Requirements. <br /> 2. Section 15050 Basic Mechanical Materials and Methods. <br /> 3. Section 15140 Supports and Anchors. <br /> 4. Section 15190 Mechanical Identification. <br /> 5. Section 15250 Mechanical Insulation. <br /> 6. Section 15412 Sanitary Drainage and Vent Systems. <br /> 1.02 SUMMARY <br /> A. This Section specifies building storm drainage piping systems,including drainage specialties and roof drains. <br /> B. Related Sections: <br /> 1- Separate sections in Division 2 specify foundation drainage, sanitary sewerage systems, and trenching and <br /> backfilling. <br /> 2. Separate sections in Division 7 specify flashing and sheet metal and joint sealers. <br /> 3. Section 15010"Basic Mechanical Requirements"applies to the work of this section. <br /> 1.03 DEFINITIONS <br /> A. Building Drain: That part of the lowest piping of a drainage system which receives the discharge from soil,waste, <br /> and other drainage pipes inside the walls of the building and conveys it to the building sewer. <br /> 1. Building Storm Drain: A building drain which conveys storm water or other drainage,but not sewage. <br /> B. Building Sewer: That part of the drainage system which extends from the end of the building drain and conveys its <br /> discharge to a public sewer,private sewer,individual sewage disposal system,or other point of disposal. <br /> 1. Building Storm Sewer: A building sewer which conveys storm water or other drainage,but not sewage. <br /> C. Conductor: A pipe inside the building which conveys storm water from the roof to a storm or combined building <br /> drain. <br /> D. Drainage System Includes all the piping within a public or private premises which conveys sewage,rain water or <br /> other liquid wastes to a point of disposal. It does not include the mains of public sewer systems or a private or <br /> public sewage treatment or disposal plant. <br /> 1. Storm Drainage System A drainage system which carries rain water,surface water,condensate,cooling water <br /> or similar liquid wastes. <br /> E.
