B. Quantity: The number of mechanical related shop drawings,product data, and samples submitted shall be as listed <br /> below% <br /> 1. Shop Drawings: 10 sets(blue or black line parts). <br /> 2. Product Data: 10 sets of each item. <br /> 3. Samples: 1 set,where requested. <br /> C. Additional copies may be required by individual sections of these Specifications. Two copies will be retained by <br /> the Architect/Engineer. <br /> D. Prior approval for substitutes of material and equipment must be submitted and received by the Engineer no later <br /> than ten (10) calendar days prior to bid opening. Requests shall be accompanied by detailed information of the <br /> proposed material or equipment indicating, via a line-by-line comparison, strict adherence to the specified product. <br /> Acceptable substitutes will be included in an Addendum to the Contract Documents which will be issued before <br /> bids are due. Acceptance of substitutes in no way relieves the Contractor of his responsibility to provide materials <br /> and equipment which adhere to the intent of the specifications and drawings, and the minimurn quality set forth <br /> therein. <br /> E. If equipment other than that used in the design of this project is proposed to be used, the Contractor and supplier <br /> shall verify electrical differences, dimension variations and weight increases. The Contractor shall be responsible <br /> for any extra costs incurred as a result of equipment substitutions. <br /> iF. Payment Request Cost Breakdown: For the purpose of establishing a schedule of values to be used for"Application <br /> and Certificate for Payment," as defined in the General Conditions of the Specifications, the various categories of <br /> Division 15 work shall be broken down according to labor,materials,bonds/permits and sales taxes. <br /> G. Submit shop drawings to the Engineer for review within 30 calendar days after notification of award of Contract. <br /> Shop drawings for items with critical delivery dates which could affect the progress of this project shall be <br /> submitted immediately. <br /> 1. Submittal shall disclose capacities, weights, dimensions and arrangements of equipment and materials. Any <br /> deviations from the Contract Documents shall be noted by the contractor or equipment supplier. The intent <br /> and requirements of the drawings and specifications shall be adhered to and are not waived or superseded in <br /> any way by the shop drawing submittal review. <br /> 2. Each shop drawing shall include the project name, names of the Architect, Engineer, Contractor, <br /> Subcontractor, manufacturer and supplier. Also include the name, address and telephone number of the <br /> contact representative. <br /> 3. Submittal shall be reviewed and stamped by the contractor before submitting to Engineer. Shop Drawings <br /> without Contractors Review Stamp will be returned for resubmittal. <br /> 3.04 COORDINATION DRAWINGS <br /> A. Review contract documents and prepare coordination drawings in accordance with Article 3 of "General <br /> Conditions (A201)" to a scale of 1/8"=1'-0" or larger; detailing major elements, components, and systems of <br /> mechanical equipment and materials in relationship with other systems, installations, and building components. <br /> Indicate locations where space is limited for installation and access and where sequencing and coordination of <br /> installations are of importance to the efficient flow of the Work, including (but not necessarily limited to) the <br /> following: <br /> 1. Indicate the proposed locations of piping, ductwork, equipment, and materials. Include the following: <br /> a. Clearances for installing and maintaining insulation. <br /> 15010-3 No.99132-CP2 <br />
