Requirements of the following Division 15 Section apply to this Section. <br /> 1. Section 15010 Basic Mechanical Requirements. <br /> 1.02 SUMMARY <br /> A. This Section includes limited scope general construction materials and methods for application with mechanical <br /> installations as follows: <br /> 1. Mechanical equipment nameplate data. <br /> 2. Excavation for underground utilities and services,including underground piping(under the building and from <br /> building to utility connection),tanks,basins,and equipment. <br /> 3. Miscellaneous metals for support of mechanical materials and equipment. <br /> 4. Joint sealers for sealing around mechanical materials and equipment; and for sealing penetrations in fire and <br /> smoke barriers,floors,and foundation walls. <br /> 5. Pipe sleeves through walls and floors. <br /> B. Related sections: <br /> ! 1. Division 5 Section"Metal Fabrications"for materials for anchoring piping systems to building structure. <br /> 2. Shop drawings detailing fabrication and installation for metal fabrications, and supports and anchorage for <br /> mechanical materials and equipment. <br /> C.
