6. Efficiency: Energy-efficient motors shall have a minimum efficiency as scheduled in accordance with <br /> Division 15 Section 15030 "Electrical Requirements for Mechanical Equipment". If efficiency not specified, <br /> motors shall have a higher efficiency than "average standard industry motors" in accordance with IEEE <br /> Standard 112,Test Method B. <br /> 7. Nameplate: Indicate the full identification of manufacturer,ratings, characteristics, construction, and special <br /> features. <br /> F. Starters,Electrical Devices,and Wiring: Electrical devices and connections are specified in Division 16. <br /> PART 3: EXECUTION <br /> 3.01 EXAMINATION <br /> A. Examine areas and conditions, with Installer present, for compliance with requirements for installation tolerances, <br /> housekeeping pads,and other conditions affecting performance of fans. <br /> B. Do not proceed until unsatisfactory conditions have been corrected <br /> 3.02 INSTALLATION,GENERAL <br /> A. Install fans level and plumb, in accordance with manufacturer's written instructions. Support units as described <br /> below,using the vibration control devices indicated. <br /> 1. Support floor-mounted units on concrete equipment bases using housed spring isolators. Secure units to <br /> anchor bolts installed in concrete equipment base. <br /> 2. Secure roof-mounted fans to roof curbs with cadmium-plated hardware. <br /> a. Installation of roof curbs is specified in Division 7. <br /> 3. Suspended Units: Suspend units from structural steel support flame using threaded steel rods and vibration <br /> isolation springs. <br /> B. Arrange installation of units to provide access space around fan and ventilator units for service and maintenance. <br /> 3.03 EQUIPMENT BASES <br /> A. Coordinate size of equipment bases with actual unit sizes provided,with base 4 inches larger in both directions than <br /> the overall dimensions of the supported unit. <br /> B. Place anchor bolts and sleeves to facilitate securing units. <br /> C. Allow concrete to cure before installation of units. <br /> 3.04 CONNECTIONS <br /> A. Duct installations and connections are specified in Division 15 Section 15891 Ductwork and 15910 Ductwork <br /> Accessories. Make final duct connections with flexible connections. <br /> B. Electrical Connections: The following requirements apply: <br /> 1. Electrical power wiring is specified in Division 16. <br /> 15850-8 No.99132-CP2 <br />
