SECTION 01730 <br /> OPERATING,MAINTENANCE AND WARRANTY DATA <br /> 1.01 GENERAL <br /> A. Compile product data and related information appropriate for Owner's maintenance and operation of products <br /> finnished under the Contract. <br /> B. Prepare operating, maintenance and warranty data as specified in this Section and as referenced in other pertinent <br /> section of Project Manual. <br /> C. Instruct Owner's personnel in the maintenance of products and in the operation of equipment and systems. <br /> D. Related requirements specified in other sections: <br /> 1. Shop drawings,product data and samples: Section 01300. <br /> 2. Project Closeout: Section 01700. <br /> 3. Project Record Documents: Section 01720. <br /> 1.02 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br /> A. Preparation of data shall be done by personnel with the following qualifications: <br /> 1. Trained and experienced in maintenance and operation of the described products. <br /> 2. Completely familiar with requirements of this Section. <br /> 3. Skilled as a technical writer to the extent required to communicate essential data. <br /> 4. Skilled as a draftsman competent to prepare required drawings. <br /> 1.03 FORM OF SUBMITTALS <br /> A. Prepare data in the form of an instructional manual for use by the Owner's personnel. <br /> B. Format shall conform to the following: <br /> 1. Size: 8Y2'x 11". <br /> 2. Paper: 20 pound,min mum,white,for-typed pages. <br /> 3. Text: Manufacturer's printed data,or neatly typewritten. <br /> 4. Drawings <br /> a. Provide reinforced punched binder tab,bind in with text. <br /> b. Fold larger drawings to the size of the text pages. <br /> 01730-1 No.99132-CP2 <br />
