DIVISION 0 <br /> ' CONDITIONS OF THE CONTRACT <br /> 00800-SUPPLEMENTARY <br /> CONDITIONS <br /> GENERAL <br /> A. The following supplements modify, change, delete from or add to the "General <br /> Conditions of the Contract for Construction," AIA Document A201/CMa <br /> Construction Management, edition 1992. Where any article of the General <br /> Conditions is modified or any paragraph, subparagraph or clause thereof or <br /> deleted by these Supplementary Conditions, the unaltered provisions of the <br /> Article,Paragraph, Subparagraph or Clause shall remain in effect. <br /> 1. ARTICLE 1 -GENERAL PROVISIONS <br /> ' 1.1 Basic Definitions <br /> 1.1.1 The Contract Documents: Add as part of Contract Documents: Performance <br /> Bond or Performance-Labor Material Bond, is required; Contractor's Bid. <br /> 1.2 Execution, Correlation, and Intent <br /> 1.2.2 Add at the end: --; however, Contractor does not represent having examined <br /> conditions that are not exposed without demolition unless the necessary <br /> demolition is specified or authorized. The Contractor also represents that all <br /> Contract Documents for the Project have been examined, including those <br /> intended for work of trades not normally performed by the Contractor's own <br /> forces, and has become thoroughly familiar with all conditions which may <br /> pertain to or affect the Work under this Contract. <br /> 1.2.3 Add at the end of first sentence: --; in proper operating condition. <br /> ' 1.2.4 At the end of the last sentence, add the following: --,unless it is specified that a <br /> subcontract include specific phases or elements to complete a certain part of the <br /> Work for reasons of coordination or responsibility. Where the Specification has <br /> been divided into sections, it is for convenience in use. The Architect assumes <br /> no responsibility for proper placement of phases.of the.Work. intothe proper. <br /> division or section nor the arrangement of Work shown on the Drawings. The <br /> Architect shall not be obligated to enter into jurisdictional or other disputes as a <br /> result of the organization, arrangement or location of parts of the Work in <br /> Specifications or on Drawings, nor to serve as arbiter to establish subcontract <br /> limits.
