SECTION 07900 <br /> SEALANTS AND CAULKING <br /> PART 1: GENERAL <br /> 1.01 APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS <br /> A. Bidding Requirements, Conditions of the Contract and pertinent portions of Sections in Division One of these <br /> Specifications apply to the Work of this Section. <br /> 1.02 SUMMARY <br /> A. Section includes: All caulking,sealants,and related accessories for: <br /> 1. Interior and exterior joints in masonry. <br /> 2. Interior and exterior joints around hollow metal. <br /> 3. Joints in slabs and at edges where painted,exposed or sealed concrete is shown on Drawings. <br /> 4. Sealant at resilient flooring wall joint where vinyl base is not scheduled. <br /> 5. Joint between top of masonry,gypsum board,and plaster walls and structure. <br /> 6. Miscellaneous joints where"sealant"or"caulk"is indicated on Drawings. <br /> B. Related work specified in other sections: <br /> 1. Sealant for firestopping—Section 07240. <br /> 2. Caulking around windows storefront and curtainwall-Section 08521. <br /> 3. Glazing-Section 08800. <br /> 4. Acoustical sealant-Section 09250. <br /> 5. Sealing at plumbing fixtures and mechanical penetrations through rated walls-Division 15. <br /> 6. Sealing of electrical penetrations through rated walls-Division 16. <br /> 1.03 SUBMITTALS <br /> A. Color Samples: Submit actual samples of color range of material for Architect's selection, or samples of custom <br /> color matches for Architect's acceptance. <br /> B.
