All plumbing shall be installed in accordance with the 2015 Minnesota Plumbing Code(see Minnesota <br /> Rules, Chapter 4714). <br /> 2. The water services must be installed at least 10 feet horizontally from any sewer whenever possible(see <br /> Minnesota Rules, Chapter 4714, Sections 609.2 and 720.1)and always from any manhole,catchbasin, or <br /> other source of contamination,measured from the outer edge of the pipe to the outer edge of the <br /> contamination source(see Section 609.6.1). <br /> 3. The 4-inch building sewer and all sanitary drainage pipe within the building must be installed with a <br /> uniform slope of at least V4-inch per foot(see Minnesota Rules,Chapter 4714, Section 718.1). Where site <br /> conditions preclude this slope, a slope of/s-inch per foot minimum may be utilized if approved by the <br /> administrative authority. <br /> 4. Full-way valves must be provided at all locations described under Minnesota Rules, Chapter 4714, Section <br /> 606.2, including the following locations: <br /> a. On the discharge side of the water meter and on each unmetered water supply. <br /> b. On the cold water supply line to the water heater. <br /> 5. Equipment used for heating water or storing hot water shall be protected by approved safety devices in <br /> accordance with Minnesota Rules,Chapter 4714, Sections 504.4, 504.5,and 504.6. <br /> 6. Unions shall be installed in water supply pipes not more than 12 inches from water heating or regulating <br /> equipment,water conditioning tanks, and similar equipment requiring service by removal or replacement <br /> (see Minnesota Rules, Chapter 4714, Section 609.5). <br /> This information can be provided to you in alternative formats(Braille,large print or audio). <br /> An Equal Opportunity Employer <br />
