GAS LOG LIGHTER <br /> Installation of a gas log lighter shall comply <br /> with the State Mechanical Code for gas appliances. <br /> The gas shut off valve shall be a listed A.G.A. <br /> device and must be outside the masonry fireplace <br /> c.1v.w. and not embedded in the outside hearth. A swing <br /> joint consisting of at least three elbows should <br /> be installed between the gas shut off va)ve and <br /> the log lighter pipe.
