FY7 <br /> SECTION 21020-ADMINISTRATION-INTERIM USES PC Exhibit C <br /> 21020.01. PURPOSE AND INTENT: The purpose and intent of allowing interim uses is: <br /> Subd. 1. To allow a use for a brief period of time until a permanent location is <br /> obtained or while the permanent location is under construction. <br /> Subd.2. To allow a use that is presently judged acceptable by the City Council,but <br /> that with anticipated development or redevelopment, will not be acceptable in the future or will <br /> be replaced in the future by a permitted or conditional use allowed within the respective district. <br /> Subd.3. To allow a use which is reflective of anticipated long range change to an <br /> area and which is in compliance with the Comprehensive Plan provided that said use maintains <br /> harmony and compatibility with surrounding uses and is in keeping with the architectural <br /> character and design standards of existing uses and development. <br /> 21020.02. PROCEDURES: <br /> Subd. 1. Interim uses shall be processed according to the procedures and standards <br /> for a conditional use permit as established by Section 21015 of this Chapter. <br /> Subd.2. Effect of Permit. An "interim use permit" for seasonal farmer's market <br /> and produce sales may be issued for a period of up to eight months per calendar year. After the <br /> City Council has issued such an interim use permit for the first term, the Zoning Administrator <br /> may reissue such permit for up to eight months per calendar year,provided the seasonal farmer's <br /> market or produce sale is consistent with the original interim use permit approval, and is in <br /> compliance with Section 21460.09, Subd. 2 of this Chapter. <br /> (Amended by Ord.No. 2005-01, 01/11/05) (Amended by Ord No. 2011-05, 02/22/11) <br /> 21020.03. GENERAL STANDARDS: An interim use shall comply with the following: <br /> Subd. 1. Meet the standards of a conditional use permit set forth in Section <br /> 21015.02, Subd. 5 of this Chapter. <br /> Subd.2. Conform to the applicable general performance standards of Section <br /> 21015.04 of this Chapter. <br /> Subd.3. The use is allowed as an interim use in the respective zoning district. <br /> Subd.4. The date or event that will terminate the use can be identified with <br /> certainty. <br /> Subd.5. The use will not impose additional unreasonable costs on the public. <br /> 21020-1 <br />
