Christine Mattson
From: Adam Edwards
Sent: Wednesday,January 10, 2018 8:57 AM
To: Christine Mattson
Cc: Roger Peitso
Subject: RE: 1525 Long Lake Blvd/#2017-01606
Chris,
I've reviewed the subject Grading Plan and stamped it approved with the following comments.
1. A separate utility permit will be required for the sewer disconnection and connection.
2. Perimeter sediment control measures must be installed by the contractor and inspected by the City prior to any
work, including demolition.Contractor must provide minimum 24 hour notice prior to inspection.
3. The retaining wall at the south east corner of the proposed home is depicted at exactly 4 ft. Should the wall
exceed 4 ft a design by a licensed engineer will be required--Walls greater than 4' in height must be designed
by a licensed professional, and plans must be submitted to the City for review prior to the approval of the
permit. Tiered walls are considered one wall unless they are separated by at least twice the height of the lower
wall.
4. Special care will need to be exercised in constructing the drainage pattern on the west side of the property to
ensure that run off is not directed onto the neighboring property.
Adam
From: Christine Mattson
Sent:Tuesday,January 09, 2018 2:42 PM
To:Adam Edwards<aedwards@ci.orono.mn.us>
Cc: Roger Peitso <rpeitso@ci.orono.mn.us>
Subject: 1525 Long Lake Blvd/#2017-01606
Adam,
We received a building permit application for a new home at 1525 Long Lake Blvd that went through the variance
process.
