It is our understanding that the scope of work <br />will include removing and replacing settled trail sections, removing and replacing severely cracked trail <br />sections and fog sealing. <br />Proposed Scope of Engineering Services <br />To assist the City with this improvement project, Bolton & Menk proposes the following scope of <br />services: <br />• Identify areas for removal and replacement with assistance from City Staff <br />• Measure quantities and prepare project cost estimates <br />• Prepare project specifications with location maps and typical sections <br />• Advertise for competitive bids and administer the bidding process <br />• Make award recommendations <br />Fee Estimate <br />Based on the scope of services described above, we propose a total not -to -exceed fee of $5,500 to be <br />billed on an hourly basis. <br />Once the Construction Contract is awarded, Bolton & Menk will prepare a separate scope and fee <br />estimate for construction phase services. <br />Please let me know if you have questions or need additional information. <br />Sincerely, <br />Bolton & Menk, Inc. <br />David P.
