Contractor shall provide all labor and materials to provide a complete plumbing and fuel <br /> system for all fixtures and equipment shown on drawings. Contractor shall rough-in <br /> � and make final connections to all fixtures and appliances supplied by others. <br /> B. All plumbing systems shall meet State and Local codes as well as ADA requirements <br /> regardless of information shown within the documents. <br /> iC. All exposed piping and valves shall be chrome plated brass. Traps shall include <br /> cleanouts and be chrome plated brass. All water supplies to each fixture shall have <br /> � chrome stop valves. F1oor mounted water closets shall be connected using a cast iron <br /> floor flange and ring putty or gaskets. Wax gaskets are not acceptable for wall hung <br /> fixtures. Provide adequate supports and reinforcing for all wall hung fixtures, valves <br /> and shower heads. Install all fixtures rigid, plumb and true. <br /> ' D. Gas Service: Extend gas service from existing in the basement laund room. Provide <br /> ry <br /> a gas pressure regulator and shut off valve at each appliance or unit of equipment as <br /> � required. Vent gas pressure regulators per code. Coordinate with all gas firing <br /> equipment including equipment supplied by others for gas pressure compatibility. <br /> � E. Water Service: <br /> 1. Extend domestic water from existing in the basement laundry room <br /> F. Miscellaneous Plumbing Equipment: <br /> � 1. Cleanouts: <br /> a. Bottom of stacks in unfinished areas shall be provided with a cleanout that <br /> has a plug with a seating flange, lead gasket and four square lugs for plug <br /> � removal. <br /> b. Access cover for wall cleanouts in finished rooms shall be equal to Josam <br /> Series 58600 stainless steel round cover with screw. <br /> � c. F1oor cleanouts in residences shall be 56010. <br /> d. Clean-out plug or cover plates in walls shall not face public corridors or <br /> public areas. <br /> 2. Roof Jacks: <br /> � a. Terminate all vents stacks 12" above roof in a frost-proof galvanized roof <br /> jack. Use lead top on cast iron and vinyl top on PVC vent pipe. <br /> 3. Floor Drains: <br /> � a. Approved Manufacturers: Wade, Watts-Ancon,J.R. Smith. <br /> b. Josam Series 3000-A complete with flashing and clamp and with adjustable <br /> nickel-bronze strainers. <br /> c. Floor drains located below grade level shall be Josam Series 67100-A with <br /> integral backwater valve. <br /> d. Floor drain strainers in the mechanical rooms and trench drains shall be <br /> 32100 cast iron. <br /> � e. F1oor drain for garage area flammable waste system shall be Josam 36000, <br /> shallow body with heavy duty, loose set, cast iron tractor grate. No trap. <br /> 4. Trench drain: <br /> � a. Provide heavy cast iron, rectangular bar pattern grates in a steel frame with <br /> flat bar anchors and nailing clips. Provide the number of grating sections <br /> shown on the Drawings.
