I explained to him that when a fznce is removed the City requires a replacement <br /> to meet current code. We discussed code requirements including the fence height. Orono <br /> municipal code allows a 6' high fence at the street propem- line on lakeshore lots that abuts a <br /> County Road. When I spoke to Ross I was under the assumption that your lot w-as lakeshore like <br /> every other property on that stretch of road. <br /> It has recently come to my attention that yours is not a lakeshore lot. Therefore your fence is too <br /> high and the City must require you to lower it to -�2" from arade. I apologize for the inaccurate <br /> information provided to your contractor.
