I was examined by the surgeon on <br /> Wednesday, June 11. After examining the cornea transplant, the surgeon <br /> advised me not to do any kind of work. No lifting or carrying anything for 4 to <br /> 6 weeks. The surgeon does not want to risk tearing open the micro-stitches. <br /> At present my vision is blurry, I cannot see or make out letters with any clarity, <br /> and all objects are blurry to me. The surgeon said this should slowly clear up <br /> in the next 4 to 6 weeks. <br /> Until I am cleared to do any heavy lifting by the surgeon—at present—I cannot <br /> even read the list delivered to me this date, and cannot perform the work on <br /> this list for at least 4 to 6 weeks. <br /> In the meantime, if you would like the name and address of my surgeon and <br /> the current no work—disability status report, I will gladly execute a written <br /> authorization for you to obtain this information from my surgeon. <br /> If you have any questions please give me a call.
