�'J ' <br /> 1991 UNIFORM FIRE CODE 32.101-32.106 <br /> ARTICLE 32 ;�r <br /> :��� <br /> TENTS, CANOPIES AND TEMPORARY � <br /> MEMBRANE STRUCTURES <br /> Scope <br /> Sec.32.101.Tents and temporary membrane structures having an area in excess <br /> of 200 square feet,and canopies in excess of 400 square feet shall be in accordance <br /> with this article. <br /> Definitions � <br /> Sec.32.102. (a) General. For definitions of AWNINGS, TEMPORARY : i <br /> MEMBRANE STRUCTURE and TENT,see Article 9. : <br /> (b) Limited Application. For the purpose of this article, certain terms are <br /> defined as follows: <br /> ASSEIIBLY is the gathering together of 10 or more persons for deliberation, <br /> education, instruction, worship, enteRainment, amusement, drinking or dining <br /> establishments,or awaiting transportation. � <br /> CANOPY is a temporary structure,enclosure or shelter constructed of fabric or <br /> piiable material supported by any manner except by air or the contents it protects <br /> and is open,without sidewalls or drops,on 75 percent or more of the perimeter. � <br /> TEMPORARY STRUCTURE is an enclosure or shelter constructed of <br /> materials as described in this article and erected for a period of less ihan 180 days. <br /> K <br /> Permits <br /> Sec.32.103. For permits to erect tents, temporary membrane structures or <br /> canopies,see Section 4.108. <br /> Use Period <br /> Sec.32.104.The use of tents,canopies or temporary membrane structures shall � <br /> not exceed a use period of 180 days within a 12-month period on a single premises. <br /> Locations,Access and Parking <br /> Sec.32.105.Location of tents,canopies and temporary membrane struc[ures, <br /> shall be in accordance with Table No.32.105-A.Fire access roadways and parking <br /> of automobiles or other intemal combustion engines shall be in accordance with <br /> Table No.32.105-A. �;� <br /> ;v, <br /> Structural Stability �g' <br /> Sec.32.106.
