<br /> �V schedule March 4.The ceramics,photography and sculpture departments will take a bit longer
<br /> to set up,since they have heavy equipment, kilns,and materials that require special handling.
<br /> Spring II classes in those departments will start the week of March 18.
<br /> Importarrt to know:In the months after the move,but before the old building is demol-
<br /> ished. parking will be very limited.Please carpool whenever possible and park carefully.
<br /> The new building will not be entirely aaessible immediatefy,and some errtrances will not be

<br /> The Minnetonka Cerrter for the Arts was founded on lune 17, 1952,by an enthusiastic group
<br /> of volunteers who wanted a place in the Lake Minnetonka area to exercise their creativity.That
<br /> means that the center tums 50 years old next wmmer.Andzn�aturally,that means a birthday
<br /> party—in this case,one that lasts a whole year.The celebration year slogan is"50 More!"
<br /> During the week of lune 17,2002,the celebration starts with a slate of events that includes:
<br /> •A special open house for the whole community on June 23,with live music, birthday cake,
<br /> tours,demos and more
<br /> •An exhibition of works by mo�e than a dozen nationally known Minnesota artists,curated by
<br /> 1im Dayton
<br /> •Arlwork by faculty and members displayed throughout the building
<br /> � � •Tours of the new building for community groups if you know interested groups,call
