� � v � <br /> � <br /> Septic Review, Subdivision #1771 <br /> October 13, 1992 <br /> Page 2 <br /> LOT 2 <br /> Soil testing and septic system design have been approved for <br /> a 5-bedroom home including primary and alternate drainfield <br /> sites. Both sites meet MPCA rules Chapter 7080 as well as Orono <br /> City Code Section 12.30 requirements. Specific septic system <br /> details are included below: <br /> - Designed for a 5-bedroom house. <br /> - Depth of seasonal saturation (mottling) is 1' to 2' for <br /> both primary and alternate drainfield sites. <br /> - Slope at the primary and alternate drainfield sites is <br /> 2$ and 5$ respectively. <br /> - Percolation rates average 5.1 minutes per inch at 12" <br /> and 18". <br /> - Topographic location and site drainage is adequate. <br /> - All setbacks meet City Code. <br /> Summary <br /> Staff recommends approval of the subdivision based on soil <br /> testing from S-P Testing, Inc. dated November 20, 1989 as updated <br /> October 1992. Several conditions are recommended for the <br /> approval of this subdivision and are listed below: <br /> 1. No excavation, construction, or compaction shall be allowed <br /> within 40' of the proposed primary treatement area for Lot <br /> 1. <br /> 2. No excavation, construction, or compaction shall be allowed <br /> on that portion of the north lot line which is south of the <br /> proposed alternate drainfield site for Lot ,Y. a��. <br /> 3. All four drainfield sites must be fenced off using snow <br /> fencing to prevent compaction of these sites prior to any <br /> traffic being allowed on this property and prior to plat <br /> approval. <br /> lsv <br />
