One of our inspectors will be
visiting the site today to verify the perimeter control and stabilization (I have attached the inspection report that
required the homeowner to do this). We were going to follow-up with the homeowner early next spring (at the latest)
regarding getting the fill removed and re-vegetating the disturbed area. Let me know if you have any questions or
comments.
Thanks,
Catherine Bach
District Technician
Minnehaha Creek Watershed District
18202 Minnetonka Boulevard
Deephaven, MN 55391
Direct: (952) 641-4504
Main Office: (952)471-0590
Fax: 952-471-0682
www.minnehahacreek.orQ
`
MINNEHAHA CREfK
wATERS►+ED DISTitICi
Think Green - please do not print this email unless necessary
From: Catherine Bach
Sent: Friday, December 03, 2010 2:12 PM
To: 'Nathan VanCamp'
Cc: Steve Christopher; Melanie Curtis; Derek Ingvason
Subject: RE: Soil Stockpile at 601 Minnetonka Highlands Lane, Orono
Nathan,
Thanks for the note. One of our inspectors wilf be stopping by early next week to have a look. The perimeter control
and soil stabilization must remain in place and functional until the fill can be removed. Please note that random
inspections will take place until the fill is removed to ensure no further impacts to the wetland occur. Let me know if
you have any questions--I'll be in touch.
1
